I'm well aware 'Sunday Session' posts have been lacking recently, I wasn't sure whether people still wanted to see generic instagram posts or not? But, I quite like nosing at what my favourite bloggers have been up to and so I thought now was the time for a revival. 

Lazing around in slipper socks, mugs of hot chocolate, bouts of flu that just would not go away, and settling back in, or as I see it, stressing to the max that it's my final year at uni, has taken up my October. I cannot believe it's November already though, like seriously? Where has this year gone! Anyone else slightly scared about how quickly time seems to be passing by? I know I am.

I've got quite a few events cropping up which I'm looking forward to and it's been lovely finally getting to meet up, and have a cheeky cocktail or two(HUGE understatement!), with my blogging friends. I met up with the stunning Lauren Number Two ;) also known as Laurenella - you should all go check her blog out, it's one of my favourites! We had such a fun time at the Next Press Day and it was really nice to see the person behind the blog as it were. We 'ooh-ed' and 'ahh-ed' over the baby and toddler clothing range whilst everyone else sauntered around elegantly, aha!

How's your November going? Is anyone's boyfriends or friends taking part in Movember? I tried convincing Jon but he said the only sort of moustache he's able to grow is a thin creepy one, not exactly a great look...

TGIF! I've had a pretty hectic week for an unemployed student with plenty visits to the bank, attending to my cv, and Jon & I are currently house-sitting for his sister whilst she's away on holiday after some creep was caught peeping into their house. I haven't really been in the mood for wearing anything particularly nice, preferring my joggers and a hoody most of the week as the weather has yet again been dismal, however, the sun did pop its hat on briefly today and so I dug out this old topshop sleeveless tee which I think will be great for when I go to Reading Festival next month!

My prize from look magazine also arrived so I've had lot's of fun playing around with all the make-up and have been writing up drafts of reviews on all the products as well as the bit's I got from elf which are being posted sporadically. And for those of you that don't know I'm also currently running a give-away, yes that's right my first ever give-away as a thanks to all my loyal readers which you can enter here.

As I'm also on a spending ban at the minute my usual weekend jaunts around the shopping park near by will have to go a miss and I guess I'll just have to endure hours of Jon playing fifa whilst I catch up on some reading which sadly has taken the back seat a bit of late. I am looking forward to this evening though as our friends Cara and Milind are coming over to just chill with a takeaway and we always end up having a laugh. Then tomorrow my friend Ellie is throwing a little gathering at her house so it'll be nice to get to see everyone!

Sunday Session #7

This is a bit of a compilation of the past two weeks which has been filled with laughter, paddling pool frolicks and making the most of the sunshine we were blessed with for only a short period of time. My AA Disco Pants finally felt like they fit so I've been parading around in them whenever I have the chance and therefore I have been sung at "you better shape up, because I need a man" countless times for their resemblance to Grease. I'm so glad to finally put exams behind me and enjoy my four months of freedom! Hooray!

Two decades of my life are now complete and I'm edging closer to the real world and things are becoming slightly scary but also tremendously exciting. I'm no longer a teenager and although I feel no different that kind of saddens me as everyone also reflects upon those mischievous teen years and I hopefully made the most of mine bar these last few months, which I will now call a minor blip in my life and soon to be forgotten, fingers crossed.

This is not your standard beauty blog post but I thought I'd just share with you a snippet into my life at the moment which consists of me sitting cross legged on my bed cramped for spaces as it overflows with revision notes, past exam papers, and highlighters congregating among packets of Haribo.

I'm sorry for the lack of posts recently and for the next month I will be off the radar as exams ensue and my nails become non existent. I'll endeavor to blog whenever I can and you'll probably find me on twitter in full on crisis mode panicking about failing this year at university and craving food, no change there then!

But here's too the next decade in my life, let's virtually toast to things going onwards and upwards!
